A projection mapping work that moves the landscape of an illustration into a fair booth. Visuals were mapped onto three walls and onto rock and tree objects, creating a room where visitors feel as if they are standing inside the picture.

01 Planning
A room the illustration walks into
We moved the landscape of an illustration into the booth and planned a room where visitors feel as if they are standing inside the picture. Elements such as the full moon, mountains, and rocks were brought out as objects in the space.

02 Design
Projection design for three walls and objects
The booth's three walls and the rock and tree objects placed in front of them were laid out in 3D. We previewed the projection from the front, left, and upper-right viewpoints to decide where each object should sit.

03 Production
A separate mask for every object
The silhouette of each object was extracted as a white mask so that the image lands only within its shape. The tree stump was built as a 3D model to add depth to the space.
04 Operations
A small landscape at the fair
During the fair, the videos "Jazz bar in Paris" and "Life of hwan" colored the objects and walls together. Stepping into the booth, visitors found themselves in the middle of the illustrated landscape.
