"D.C.S.C" defines the exhibition space as a world of its own. It likens the sensations born when intended light connects to unintended moments to a contemporary display shelf, and visitors linger and sense within the light of shelves that collide, expand, and connect.

01 Planning
A contemporary shelf that displays light
We turned Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans into a display shelf of light and defined the gallery as a world of its own. Visitors could stay and feel the sensations that arise as intended light connects with unintended moments.

02 Design
A 30-bay shelf built from scaffolding
In the gallery of Palbok Art Factory, we built a shelf structure from scaffolding on 22 jack bases and mounted 30 lights weighing 8 kg per bay. The design extended to silver-foil walls, double curtains, the server room, and electrical capacity.

03 Production
A structure raised between silver walls
After finishing the walls in silver foil and raising the scaffold posts, we hung the lights one at a time and checked how the light spread. Fog density and the lighting sequence were tuned to create the rhythm of the shelf.
04 Operations
Visitors walking through the fog
During the exhibition, visitors walked along a fog-covered passage and lingered between displays of lights switching on and off. In the dance film shoot, a dancer's silhouette crossed through the light.
