01 Planning
The feeling of resting beneath the eaves
We saw the pop-up space in the middle of the city as a shelter for a brief stay beneath the eaves. We planned a scene in which light settles like a roof at the boundary of inside and outside and wraps around visitors.
02 Design
A roof divided into six zones
The ceiling was divided into six zones with dimensions, and an eaves-shaped structure was designed in 3D. The stairs and sections were also modeled to check the angle of falling light and the sightlines.
03 Production
Installation work on the ceiling
On site, we hung the eaves structure from the ceiling and organized the wiring. Each installation point was adjusted so that light continues even into the narrow space between the stair gap and the ceiling.
04 Operations
The shelter's light spreading to the street
During the pop-up (Nov 22 – Dec 7, 2025), light spread onto the building's exterior, and inside, visitors lingered among the objects beneath the eaves and the coffee bar.
