"Send and Receive" is a multi-display installation that makes visible, through audiovisuals, the unseen but constant "state of connection." Rather than delivering a specific message, it reveals the process by which sensation and perception are sent, received, and settled within the artist.

01 Planning
Revealing an invisible connection
We focused less on communication with others than on the exchange of sensation and perception within the artist. We sought to reveal, in sound and image, a state of repeated sending and receiving between past, present, and the direction ahead.

02 Design
Arranging the suspended screens
Displays were suspended throughout the gallery and arranged together with wall projection. Heights and spacing were varied to create a path along which visitors seem to exchange signals as they move between screens.

03 Production
Signals tested on the floor
Before installation, we laid the displays out on the floor and checked the sync of video and sound one by one. Audiovisuals that never stop generating and transforming were distributed across the screens.
04 Operations
Visitors moving between the screens
In the gallery, the suspended displays and the wall projection changed at different speeds. Visitors walked slowly between the screens, staying within a flow of signals that never resolves.
