An outdoor performance combining classical music and media art. The Big Roof ceiling LED and the large front screen of the Busan Cinema Center were linked and directed as one space, with a different sky unfolding over the stage for each piece.

01 Planning
Art-song scenes linking sky and stage
We treated the vast Big Roof ceiling and the front screen of the Cinema Center's outdoor theater as one space and dressed it in Korean art songs and classical music. Part one used pattern-based ambient visuals; part two used a visual concept for each piece.

02 Design
Coordinates of a 24 m screen and ceiling LED
Video specifications for both surfaces were set against the 24×13 m front screen (1920×1080) and the unified 253×201px coordinates of the ceiling LED. The outdoor projection system and its link to the LED were diagrammed.

03 Production
Building a different sky for each piece
For pieces such as Nessun dorma, Bimok, and Granada, we created scenes of chandeliers, flames, the sun, flocks of birds, and the moon and sea. Given the low resolution of the ceiling, the visuals focused on color and flow.
04 Operations
Songs spreading above the audience
Over two days, June 21–22, three operators ran the ceiling and screen visuals in time with the music. The audience looked up at an outdoor stage where the Big Roof overhead and the front screen changed together.
