A media art music video made in collaboration with AHN YEEUN's song "Changgwi." Using an entire abandoned tunnel as a single projection surface, we planned, directed, and produced projection mapping that conveys the song's folkloric dread and the sensation of the spirit seeping in.

01 Planning
The tale of Changgwi summoned in a cave
We moved the folkloric dread of AHN YEEUN's song "Changgwi" into an abandoned tunnel. A figure in white with red cloth was placed at the end of the tunnel, and we planned a scene in which a presence emerges from the dark.

02 Design
The whole tunnel as one mapping surface
A single 20,000 ANSI lumen laser projector was placed in front of the cave, binding the outer wall of the entrance, the inner walls, and the ceiling into one projection area. The perspective of the curved tunnel was used directly as the depth of the image.

03 Production
Layers of pattern carved on face and wall
The organic patterns covering the tunnel walls and the patterns flowing over the figure's face and clothes were designed and projected separately. The same motifs moved between space and body, creating the sensation of the spirit seeping in.
04 Operations
A scene completed in front of the camera
On site, we tuned the projection and lighting to the camera's path to complete the music video scenes. Instead of an audience, the camera entered the tunnel and captured the figure and the space, submerged in light, in a single frame.
